Are you an experienced Environmental Professional that has at least 10 years of experience dealing with Waste Management and would like to work for a sustainable company?

What will you do as a Waste Solutions Manager?

The Waste Solutions Manager will develop and manage long-term programs and outreach activities for waste reduction, including compliance with city ordinances, recycling, and beneficial reuse.

  • Responsible for finding the appropriate US Outlets for spent activated carbon that can not be reactivated

  • Assist US Sales Team concerning legislation related to movement of spent activated carbon and other transportation topics.

  • Discuss Waste Movement and Treatment related topics with various US Authorities.

  • Source spent carbon for recycling at one of our facilities, considering required quality specifications.

  • Develop and Implement waste management plans for all waste streams generated by DESOTEC facilities in Parker, AZ, Red Bluff, CA, and in Darlington, PA.

  • Frequent travel across US and Canada, aprox 50% Travel required.

Who are you as a Waste Solutions Manager at DESOTEC?

  • Master's level degree in Environmental, Engineering, or Chemicals, or related degree

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in waste treatment technologies and processes

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office

  • Up to Date Knowledge of Local, State, and Federal Regulations related to waste management, including hazardous waste handling, transportation, and disposal

  • Success in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as waste haulers, recycling facilities, lobbyists, state agencies, federal agencies, etc.
